Hi, there! Andie Summers here. I was hosting a dinner party this past weekend. YAY! I love to cook and I love to entertain, but for some reason this dinner really put me over the edge. While I boiled water for pasta, I started to steam broccoli. What I learned is that if you steam broccoli for too long it’s no longer steamed; it becomes burnt broccoli.
Gross.
To add insult to injury, that black stain just wouldn’t scrub out of the bottom of my beautiful new pot. Â On a whim, and out of desperation, I grabbed some baking soda, and after about 15 seconds I was able to wipe my pot clean.
SUCCESS!
Then I proceeded to clean the rest of my pots. Since then, I’ve learned that this little box of white powder in my fridge is good for so many other things. Here are 75 of them (according to Just a Pinch)
