Police Officer Saves 15 Baby Ducks Stuck In Storm Drain
A police officer in Andover, Massachusetts rescued more than a dozen baby ducks from a storm drain thanks to two very observant young girls.
Over the weekend, Ayla and Everly noticed the “momma mallard” in distress. They quickly alerted their parents who then called the police.
Officer O. Fitzpatrick of the Andover Police Department responded to the call and was able to save all of the ducklings, the department stated on a Facebook post.
“Thank you Ayla and Everly for being so alert and calling us to help,” the department said, “and thank you mom for letting us use the pictures!”
