Michael Ray is sharing with everyone on his social media a nasty golf injury that will keep him from sitting for quite some time. He was hit with a golf ball during a round of golf as he approached the 11th hole.

When you think about a round of golf, it’s a nice outing with golfers walking lush grass and greens. It’s a day of fellowship and bonding with your foursome of friends. You never think that there is a possibility of an injury.

The odd of pulling a muscle or straining your back may be high but getting hit with a golf ball? The odds of getting hit are much lower than 1%.

If a golfer has a swing speed of about 80 mph, their golf ball will travel approximately 120 miles per hour. That will hurt.

Ouch

Michael Ray has a really bad bruise

Michael did not share whether he heard the words “Fore” which usually happens when someone hits an errant shot. He did feel it on the right side of his hide quarters. Here is Michael’s original post:

“The best part about being hit in the buttocks, is the Free ice cream” ~ Forrest Gump
