24th Annual XTU Toy Truck Parade :::SAVE THE DATE:::   Saturday, December 9, 2023 Every year, we count our blessings. Here at XTU, we are fortunate to be surrounded by friends and family who care for one another and lend a helping hand to others in need - and this year is no different. From the bottom of our hearts we thank you for your continued support of one of the greatest events we have all year. The XTU Toy Truck Parade The XTU Toy Truck Parade is more than bright lights, fun decorations, and loud horns. It is the coming together of a community that recognizes a need and fulfills it. This year, the new, unwrapped toys collected during our parade will benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Camden County. Our Grand Marshall & Special Guest Performer will be announced soon... Here's How It Works ... 8am - Arrive to the Scottish Rite Auditorium (315 White Horse Pike, Collingswood, NJ) with a vehicle full of new, unwrapped toys! 8:01am - Be sure to stop by the XTU Tent in the Scottish Rite parking lot so you can register your vehicle. There are four categories from which you can choose: Commercial Trucks (We often get several trucks from an organization enter!) Emergency Vehicles (EMT, Fire, Police, etc) Personal Vehicles (car, truck or SUV - We're not picky!) Big Rigs (You know who you are!) 8am - 10am - Put the finishing touches on your vehicle so it can be judged by our blue ribbon panel of experts. They are Andie Summers, Jeff Kurkjian, Razz On The Radio, and Nicole Michalik 10am - Drivers, Start Your Engines! The long line of decorated vehicles will parade through Collingswood, NJ to our destination at Cooper River Track where we will build TOY MOUNTAIN! (see parade route below) ALL ARE WELCOME! If you are not able to make the parade, or you would just prefer to watch, we encourage it! Feel free to line the streets of the parade route (see below) and/or bring a donation to Cooper River Track and help us build Toy Mountain. Parade Route: Parade will begin down Franklin Avenue starting at 10:00am, continue on to Collings Avenue, then a right onto Atlantic Avenue, take a left onto Cuthbert, then a left onto N.
