Video Out Of New Jersey Goes Viral, Brother Mortified
I am not sure what this guy had in mind when he created a cringy video that went viral, but his brother noticed and he is mortified. If you have brothers and/or sisters, you know they can be cringy. Just ask the Kelce brothers. As a matter of fact, I do not know siblings who do not make it their life purpose to embarrass each other.
Embarrassing Siblings
I grew up next to a household of boys. One summer afternoon, the younger brother rode his bike around the neighborhood announcing that his older brother had recorded their other brother going to the bathroom. Now, remember. This was in the 80s, so it was not video, but a cassette tape recorder hidden somewhere in the bathroom while he did his business. Both kids got in big trouble for that one.
That angst did not stay contained within the walls of my neighbor’s house. The boys’ other neighbor, on the other side of their house, was another house of boys. These boys were younger, but just as brazen. I remember the dads standing in one of the neighborhood garages enjoying a few beers after an afternoon of mowing their lawns when the town crier announced that the youngest of his neighbors could be seen smoking cigarettes out his window in the night. Misery loves company, I guess, because the next time I saw the kid caught smoking, he could not sit down.
Viral Video
The story I really want to tell you about, though, involves adult brothers. One of which manages a woodcutter business in Trenton, New Jersey. His name is Tobias Smith, and this guy must really love his job. Tobias made a “commercial” for Willard Brothers Woodcutters in Trenton. Now, I’m not related to this guy, but it even made me cringe.
Tobias’s brother Jesse Smith posted the video to “X,” formerly Twitter, and said, “My brother made this video for our fall wood sale and it’s the worst thing you’ve ever seen.”
His is not wrong. You seriously cannot look away. The epitome of cringy video. And Jesse and I are not the only ones who think so. The video has gone viral.
17 Reasons to Fall in Love with Travis Kelce
Travis Kelce.
What can we possibly say about the guy that seemingly has it all. The looks, the job, the personality, and the family. The Kelce boys are truly making their mark on sports in the United States because of their winning records and winning personalities.
Mamas, don’t let your babies grow up …
Let’s thank Mama Kelce for a lot of that. Donna Kelce is a constant in the lives of both Travis and his older brother Jason since they hit the scene. I have a theory that celebrities who keep their parents close are the ones who make good decisions and become good role models. Think Taylor Swift. She doesn’t need her parents to cramp her style, but they travel with her and are a constant in her life. Therefore – good decisions.
Author’s Note: I am in Philadelphia and, while I am super annoyed that he wears the Super Bowl LVII ring instead of his brother Jason who plays for the Philadelphia Eagles, part of me feels like he is one of us.
Speaking of Taylor Swift … Travis Kelce is smitten. Who could blame him?! The woman is an absolute phenom who sets the world on fire in her beautiful sunshiny kind of way. And, in his eyes, she’s playing a little game of hard-to-get. Whether she is or not, we will never know for sure, but Travis went to see Taylor’s Eras Tour and really wanted to meet her before the show. He even had a friendship bracelet made with his phone number (very smooth!). But Taylor doesn’t meet folks before the show, so he was shut down.
No is a complete sentence.
When Travis heard “no,” for maybe the first time in a long time, he was crushed. Then, we find out on the Kelce Brothers’ podcast “New Heights” that Travis was “hanging out” with Taylor on a recent trip to New York. Is there love between the two? It certainly looks like there is! The two have been seen going out to dinner, SNL, all while holding hands. If body language means anything, these two are definitely a thing.
Here’s a look at Travis Kelce over the past year. You will notice his facial hair changes, his clothes, and the company he keeps.
