Brad Paisley And Post Malone Have Very Different Schedules
Post Malone is a big fan of country music. He recently said he would do a country album and sang with HARDY and Morgan Wallen at the CMA Awards last month (November).
Brad told Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show on Monday (12/4) that the new album he’s working on, Son of the Mountains, may feature a collaboration with Post Malone. Jimmy showed the audience a photo of Posty and Paisley in the recording studio, and Malone seems to have him in a chokehold. When asked if a collaboration with Post Malone will be on the album, Brad quipped, “Well, we will see. As you can tell, I have no say in that photo.”
Paisley said that working with Post Malone can be different. He told Fallon, “I worked with him a couple of nights. To tell you how he rolls, and you know, you’ve done this too. I’m hoping whatever we do in the future, we have some set rules. I was there all night one night, and the other night, I went home a little earlier, and he called me at eleven AM and said, ‘Hey, if you could fix that one guitar part in the studio today, I’m going to bed,’ and it was eleven AM, that’s a bedtime for him, technically the day before, you can’t roll with that.”
Brad added, “He’s amazing. I love him. He’s the greatest guy, and he loves country music. We’ll see if we do something. You never know.”

In the summer of 2022, the rapper posted a video clip to TikTok featuring a performance of Paisley’s 2002 hit “ I’m Gonna Miss Her (The Fishin’ Song).” The clip is from last year’s fundraiser We’re Texas, an event organized by Matthew McConaughey to support the state of Texas following a devastating winter storm in February 2021.

Brad praised Posty’s cover saying, “This is better than me.” Paisley took it one step further and even changed out the bio on his TikTok page to read: “I write songs for Post Malone.”
In a follow-up video, Malone quickly responded to Paisley’s approval, “Brad, there’s no shot, man. I love you so f—– much, man; thank you for the love, dude. I owe you a beer, man. Text me; I’ll see you soon.”
