"I am debating whether I should tell my friend that I no longer want to be a bridesmaid in her wedding. We went to high school together and were super close. We both dated guys in our group of friends, I married my high school sweetheart, she was engaged to hers (my husband’s best friend) but they split up before getting married.
Fast forward three years, I just found out she was cheating on her fiancé, my husband’s best friend, with her soon-to-be husband and that’s what caused the breakup. My husband would NEVER ask me to NOT be a part of the day but this guy that she cheated on is very much in our life and is his best friend. Obviously, I’m upset at her but I don’t want my husband to think I’m not supporting him. The wedding isn’t until April 2025 so she could find someone else. Can I tell her that I don’t want to be a bridesmaid?"
