Taylor Swift’s upcoming Eras Tour in Florida may help some local shelter dogs find forever homes, as SPCA Tampa Bay names four dogs after the singer’s popular songs. The dogs, Betty, Karma, Marjorie, and Willow, will be available for adoption starting this week on the day of Swift’s first of three Tampa Eras Tour shows.
On April 15th, the date of the final concerts in Tampa, SPCA Tampa Bay will host its 32nd Annual Pet Walk, featuring a team they’re calling “Team Swifties.” In a press release, SPCA Tampa offered a punny invitation for anyone who couldn’t get tickets for Swift’s show to come out to the event. “If you were left ticketless for any of Taylor Swift’s concerts, we invite you to come out and shake it off with SPCA Tampa Bay at Pet Walk instead,” the nonprofit writes.
To roll out the red carpet for the award winning singer-songwriter, Tampa mayor Jane Castor is presenting Swift with a key to the city and has invited her to be the city’s honorary mayor for the day. “We are so excited to welcome you to Tampa,” Caster says in a
