What amazing news for Jeff and Emily Kurkjian, a pregnancy announcement! They are expecting their first child in August of 2023. This is something they’ve dreamed of for quite some time.
Let’s take you back to the very beginning. Jeff and Emily met on Tinder (woo!) and went on their first date at a George Strait concert in Las Vegas (where they both were living at the time). At that date, they actually met country music star, Ashley McBryde who was opening up for Strait.
They moved in together at the of 2019 and then, five short months later, the world absolutely changed. COVID-19 shook the world and forced everyone to stay inside. For many, this was awful for their marriages but for these two, it actually did wonders. They were able to stop going out every weekend, and truly just connect with each other on a deeper level.
In Las Vegas, they built a house together, got a dog together and started their little family.
Jeff proposed in the backyard of their new home in October of 2020 and the wedding planning begun!
These two love birds got married back in April of 2022 surrounded by their amazing friends and family. The wedding, though in Las Vegas, did not feature Elvis. Sorry…
Shortly after that they moved to Philadelphia so Jeff can start his job here on 92.5 XTU. Emily started a new work-from-home job. A big but exciting change for the both of them. They got settled in an apartment in Bala Cynwyd before finding a beautiful home in Skippack. They have filled the home with DIY projects and Emily’s amazing decorators eye.
So now, naturally, what would you say is next? Starting a family of course. Both Jeff and Emily are extremely blessed to be (thus far) having a very happy and healthy pregnancy.
