Please Touch Museum
The Please Touch Museum has been around since 1976 and is one of the top activities for kids in Philadelphia. The museum includes two full floors of interactive exhibit zones. On First Wednesdays, the museum charges just $2 admission from 4 to 7 p.m. Purchasing your tickets in advance is recommended and the museum tends to be busier on rainy days. Philadelphia Zoo
The Philadelphia Zoo is home to about 1,300 animals and features exhibits such as, Big Cat Falls, the McNeil Avian Center, the PECO Primate Reserve and KidZooU. Franklin Institute
The Franklin Institute is full of kid friendly exhibits that are both educational and fun. Walk through the Giant Heart and Your Brain, learn about Newtown’s Laws of Motion in Sir Isaac’s Loft, discover the wonder’s of outer space, and so much more! The Franklin Institute also features an IMAX Theater and the Fels Planetarium. The museum also hosts special exhibits running for a limited time.
Sesame Place
Hang out with all your favorites from Sesame Street at Sesame Place. This family friendly theme park features rides, interactive activites, parades, shows, fireworks, and even a water park. Tickets can be purchased in advance online or at the gate when you arrive. Sesame Place also offers season passes.
