‘Ted Lasso’ Season 2 is Coming, Here’s What We Know
‘Ted Lasso’ is coming back for season 2!
The comedy staring Jason Sudeikis will return to Apple TV+ on July 23. Sudeikis plays a football coach from Kentucky who is hired to coach the AFC Richmond football club in the English Premier Leauge.
Cast member Juno Temple revealed to Collider that season 2 will have more episodes than season 1. According to Thrillist, Apple confirmed that season 2 will have 12 episodes “because the season’s story required it.”
Not only has ‘Ted Lasso’ been renewed for season 2, but Apple TV+ has already given the okay for season 3.
The popular show has been racking up awards. Sudeikis won Best Actor in a TV Comedy at the Golden Globes and won a SAG award for his role. He also won a trophy from the Critics Choice Awards along with costar Hannah Waddingham. ‘Ted Lasso’ ended up winning Best Comedy Series at the Critics Choice Awards.
