Bryce Harper’s Epic Response To The A’s Moving To Vegas
Bryce Harper Las Vegas Athletics? We don’t think so after what the former MVP had to say about the team relocating. Honestly, he’s candid thoughts really surprised us!
Of course, we had to talk about it on 92.5 XTU.
Bryce Harper Swing Of His Life
It goes without saying that Bryce Harper is a HUGE difference-maker for the Phillies. In fact, he’s signed to play for them through 2031 after signing a 13-year, $330 million contract back in 2018.
Bryce Harper Las Vegas Athletics
If you don’t know this about Harper, is originally from Las Vegas. He actually went to Las Vegas High School and loves to represent his hometown. During the offseason earlier this year, he was actually out a Las Vegas Motor Speedway saying the most famous words in motorsports.
According to The Athletic, despite being from Las Vegas, he doesn’t love the idea of the A’s heading out to his hometown. Here’s what he said in an interview.
“Now it’s, ‘Hey, we’re going to pick the A’s to come to Vegas.’ I don’t agree with that. Who cares what I think? It’s my own opinion. But when you see a team like the A’s — there’s so much history at the Coliseum with all the great players they’ve had.”
How will they be successful in Las Vegas? Well, Bryce Harper thinks he knows how according to an article from Sporting News.
“You have to build around that player. But it has to be a dude. It can’t be a middle-of-the-road guy. It has to be a dude. And it should be two.”
Will Bryce Harper Play In Vegas?
This is the question that everyone has been asking. Despite him signing a 13-year deal in Philadelphia, baseball has a weird way of working, like most major sports. Highly doubt logistically that it will work BUT here’s what Bryce had to say about it.
“If I ever play there, then something really bad happened here,
I hope I die in a Phillies jersey.”
That’s so epic, I HOPE I DIE IN A PHILLIES JERSEY. You gotta love this guy.
9 Best Looking Phillies Players
We’ve got the Best Looking Phillies Players according to The Andie Summers Show Assistant Producer, Shannon. Do you agree or disagree with this list? Her number one is highly debated.
The team is headed to their second straight playoff appearance as they occupy the top Wild Card spot for the 2023 postseason.
Phillies Playoff Schedule
The Major League Baseball playoffs kick off with the Wild Card round on Tuesday, October 3rd. The Philadelphia Phillies have locked in the fourth seed in the playoffs (the top Wild Card spot) and will take on the fifth seed. They could end up playing any team including the Chicago Cubs, Miami Marlins (division rival), or the Cincinnati Reds but most likely the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Both the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Atlanta Braves have secured byes in the first round of the National League side of the bracket. The Braves will play the winner of the fourth and fifth-seeded game and the Dodgers will play the winner of the Brewers and sixth-seed matchup.

Phillies Home Games
The Phillies will host the Wild Card round (which is best of three) and all the games will be at home, which is incredible. Last year, they didn’t have the same advantage and still made it to the World Series! Insane. Love this team.
The Phillies Are HOT Right Now
We are talking about their gameplay, of course. They are coming off a National League Championship Series. Unfortunately, they weren’t able to take home the World Series trophy, but they did a lot of missing pieces in the offseason.
They added shortstop Trea Turner, closer Craig Kimbrel, pitcher Matt Strahm, pitcher Taijuan Walker, and pitcher Gregory Soto.
Will any of the new guys make the list of best-looking Phillies??
