Gwen Stefani Found Reba ‘Everywhere’ In Oklahoma
Gwen Stefani appeared on The Jennifer Hudson Show this week and discussed the country icon she’s been working with on the new season of The Voice, Reba McEntire.
Gwen said that working with Reba “feels surreal” when she looks over and sees her there because “she’s such an icon.” Stefani added that working with Reba is “beyond a bucket list” item because she never would have thought in her life that she would be so close to her.
She also recalled to Hudson that during a recent road trip with her husband, Blake Shelton, and her sons “rolled up to some Dairy Queen” and ordered some ice cream when fans spotted Blake and shouted. Gwen noted that while Shelton is prominent in his home state, Reba is even more significant. She offered that Reba is an “Okie” and her presence is everywhere you go. One day, Stefani recalled that they went to Reba’s Place (her restaurant), saw her signed image in a thrift store, and then “went to some other Italian restaurant,” and there was another framed picture of Reba. She said, “It was everywhere.”

Hudson also piped in about Reba, saying that the country Queen was recently on the show, and Jennifer was so excited and “tried to keep my composure.” Hudson noted how “present” Reba is and “so full of love.”
Gwen talks about her husband, Blake Shelton, in the new issue of People magazine. She is on the cover of the issue. In the article, Stefani says that the relationship and marriage are an “amazing gift.”
Gwen and Blake met on The Voice in 2014 after both music stars were going through a divorce from their former spouses. Stefani said that he changed her life, and when she started to date him, “That’s when I felt home.” She added, “Like, ‘Oh, this is where I’m supposed to be, with this guy.”
