Carrie Underwood: Growing Beans And Doing ‘Chicken Math’
Carrie Underwood had some shows over the weekend in her home state of Oklahoma and a stadium show with country icon Willie Nelson. But she still found time to play in her garden and on her property not far from Nashville.
In a series of posts on her Insta Stores, where she loves to share personal moments at home and in her garden, Carrie posted her first slide on Insta Stories of her hand holding six figs she had grown. She wrote over the photo, “No, Charlie, you can’t have them.. #figs #gardengrow.” She posted a photo of a bunch of red, white, and black beans on the second slide. She captioned the picture, “I love growing beans!!! They’re so easy, and they preserve themselves.” In the third and final slide, she shared a photo of some farmland with an old farmhouse in the background. She wrote over it, “A nice fall walk down the coop. Somehow, I ended up with 7 seven roosters.. They all pretty much get along, but now I need more ladies…#chickenmath.”

Earlier this month (10/9), Underwood was doing some baking and frying deserts at home while she had some time off from performing. Carrie shared her latest cooking creation on Insta Stories and a shopping find.
Underwood posted four slides on Insta stories, and in the first one, she shared a photo of freshly baked cinnamon rolls. She wrote over the image, “The house smells good this morning!!! #sourdough #CinnamonRolls.” On the second slide, she posted a photo of an apple pie in a frying pan. She wrote, “My favorite pie dish was in use, so I made an apple pie in the skillet… was a pleasant surprise! I may do this all the time!.”
In the third slide, she shared a photo of a recent purchase. She wrote over the picture of an old library card catalog, “Got a new piece for the garden shed from @the_green_scene_antiques !!! She’s going to hold all my seeds, beautiful!!!”
In the final slide, Carrie posted a photo of her backyard shed and wrote, “The shed… (three heart emojis).”
