Hardy Is ‘Living The Dream’ Ahead Of CMA Awards Performance With Post Malone
Hardy is one of the biggest breakout stars in country music, and he’s “living the dream” ahead of the 2023 CMA Awards. The show will air live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena this Wednesday night (November 8) and it’s expected to be a night to remember.

The “Sold Out” singer is preparing for a performance alongside his good friend and country superstar Morgan Wallen as well as music phenomenon Post Malone. It has been reported that they will perform a medley of classic country songs together during the award show.
Aside from the country classics, our hosts Jeff Kurkjian and Justin Frankiak had to get the insider details on Hardy’s favorite Post Malone songs. Now, if you’re as big of a fan of Post Malone as I am, you know how difficult it must be to answer this very question.
“I love them all, but yeah between ‘Sunflower’ and ‘Congratulations’ and if it was like a deep cut, it would be ‘Take What You Want,'” Hardy told Kurkjian and Franiak.
Hardy is up for four CMA Award nominations this year, including Single Of The Year (“Wait In The Truck”), Song Of The Year (“Wait In The Truck”), Musical Event Of The Year (“Wait In The Truck”), and Music Video Of The Year (“Wait In The Truck”). As of the morning of the CMA Awards (11/8), he already won Musical Event Of The Year and Music Video Of The Year
Hardy spoke of the awards and his songwriting saying, “I’ve always just said this, but, like, if, you know, if we don’t have the song, we don’t have any of this. Like, I mean, it literally starts with the song and that’s how important it is. So I’m thankful for that. And, and I have my songwriting foundation, you know, before anything else.”
