Garth Brooks’ House Is ‘Smelling Amazing’
Garth Brooks has a busy Thanksgiving week. He held a press conference on Monday (11/20) and will open his Nashville bar on Broadway on Friday (11/24) with a performance. Still, on the big day tomorrow, he gives thanks to his wonderful wife, Trisha Yearwood, whose holiday meal will rival the best cooks in the country.
After his press conference on Monday, Garth told us how she is getting ready for Thanksgiving. He said, “Right now already, I don’t know what you call it, but she pre-does a lot of stuff. The house is already smelling amazing, and that smell kind of ties into Christmas and everything. So, the holidays are ready to start. She’s got a bar to open this Thanksgiving, but watch her; she won’t miss a beat.”
Brooks added, “I don’t know how she does it. And she’s cutting records, she’s doing her own pet food line, furniture line, it’s crazy. I don’t know how she does it.”
Garth admitted that as busy as Yearwood is, she always has time for him, “Never do I feel neglected. I don’t know how she does it all.”

Also, after the press conference, Brooks told us that after a busy 2023, his 2024 is also packed. He said, “Yeah! This was the busiest year so far. I seriously think things are going to slow down a lot in ’24. Oh – let me rephrase that!! I think things are going to slow down a lot in ’25 ’cause ’24’s going to be busier than ’23!”
Brooks’s camp announced Monday (11/120) that he is adding 18 more dates to his Las Vegas residency in 2024.
He said in the press conference, “What I love about the Vegas dates is the crowd you’re playing for and the family that you’re playing for. They’ve been very sweet to us out there. And if you look on the stage anywhere in Vegas, you’ll never see a set list.”
