This week, Julie writes to The Andie Summers Show about how she believes her sister’s wedding request is tacky, as she is asking her wedding guests to specifically pay for their plate.
Julie writes to the Show on Facebook DMs:
“I think my sister is making a huge mistake with her wedding. It’s not her groom – it’s her invitation – and I think it’s tacky.
Because my sister and her fiancée are already pretty settled, they don’t want to register for a bunch of stuff they don’t need. My sister’s “great idea” is to give guests the option to pay for their meal instead of giving them a gift. She wants to include a QR code so guests can Venmo her directly. Is it tacky? Or is this a great idea?”
