ACM Awards Will Be In Vegas In 2022, But Won’t Be On Network TV
The Academy of Country Music announced today (11/18) that the 57th Academy of Country Music Awards will take place Monday, March 7, 2022, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
For the first time, the show will not be aired live on a major TV network, it will be streamed live on Amazon Prime.
Damon Whiteside, CEO of the Academy of Country Music, said in a press release, “We are thrilled to return to Las Vegas to celebrate country music’s ‘Party of the Year’ in this incredible brand-new stadium and on the Prime Video streaming service for the first time. We can’t thank the city of Las Vegas and Allegiant Stadium enough for welcoming us for the 57th Academy of Country Music Awards—a party so big only a stadium can hold it!”
The 57th Academy of Country Music Awards will feature performances, collaborations, surprising moments, and more to be announced in the coming months.
