Carly Pearce Helps Her Home State: ‘I Love You Kentucky’
Carly Pearce is a native of Kentucky, so when Eastern Kentucky recently experienced catastrophic flooding, she immediately stepped up to help, through the American Red Cross.
They (ARC) posted a video of Carly on their Twitter. Pearce said in the video clip, “As I’m sure all of you at this point have heard, a devastating flood ripped through my home state of Kentucky in eastern Kentucky where my grandparents grew up, and it has completely devastated the area. I made a donation this week to the Red Cross, and I’m asking you to do the same. I am going to link the link for the website here. Every single dollar matters.”
She continued, “So many people are just absolutely lost and devastated and need our help. I love you, Kentucky, and I am sending all my thoughts and prayers to everyone.”

Carly isn’t the first country star to support Kentucky; Chris Stapleton went down there to buy supplies at Walmart for the flood victims and helped clear debris from family homes.
