We had a chance to chat with Julie Kramer who has quite an inspiring story as an amazing cancer survivor! She is local to the Delaware Valley gal and LOVES the Phillies. We had to chat with her on The Andie Summers Show.
The Phillies Have A Lot To Do With This
The photo above is from the 2015 season, that is the year that Julie Kramer threw out the first pitch at the Phillies game to start that season. The team was honoring her because she had just beat CANCER and absolutely kicked it in the butt.
However, there was one down fall, she would not be able to have children because the chemotherapy killed (what she thought was) all of her eggs.
That’s Not What God Wanted For This Cancer Survivor
Nope not at all! God works in mysterious ways. I actually found this amazing story when scrolling through Twitter. This is why (at times) the internet is actually a really great place!
Julie wrote on Twitter…
“Roughly 8 years from today, I threw out the 1st pitch at the Phillies 2015 home opener as a survivor of stage 4 cancer that killed [most] of my eggs. Today, I took my miracle boy to his 1st Phillies game. Surreal moment I got to soak in. Thank you for the support then and now”
Here’s that tweet!

WOW what an inspiration to so many of those affected by cancer.
It Wasn’t Easy For This Cancer Survivor
Hearing these stories can be so inspirational. Julie went through so much only to have the cancer come back TWICE on her. But that never got her down and she never gave up. And then, her miracle baby came!
