Brunch With Brian: Heritage
Second Street in Northern Liberties is known as “the street of bars” that line up these parts. One of these places where they have a great Sunday Brunch is Heritage which has been part of the neighborhood for over 4 years.
Heritage is a modern, rustic restaurant with live music every day of the week. If you’re a beer connoisseur, Heritage features over 30 rotating craft beers on draft. They even have monthly events featuring breweries from all over the country.
Brunch happens at Heritage on Saturdays & Sunday. If you like Bluegrass, you should check out their Sunday Bluegrass Brunch.
This past Sunday I got to hear live music from Midnight Flyer who were kicking it up on stage.
The brunch menu at Heritage was awesome, I got my start with one of their drinks, the “Hotel Lobby” which is a cold brew with cream and vanilla bourbon.
Then I had a flapjack from the kids menu cause for me, one flapjack is enough. It was very tender, creamy with brown sugar butter that melts in your mouth.
One of the thing I can’t resist is a good steak and eggs dish and they have one that is awesome with chimichurri. It’s juicy, flavorful and hits the mark.
So when you take a walk down Second Street in Northern Liberties, make a visit and check out the live music and great food at Heritage.
