What the Shuck? It’s time for Cobbin’ At The Creek!
Cobbin’ at The Creek is Neshaminy Creek Brewing’s super corny way to celebrate the return of Better Maize Ahead American Cream Ale. The free event features corn cocktails from New Liberty Distillery, an ear-resistible corn-themed menu from The Clean Plate Club food truck live music from The Back Porch Jugband, and of course beer. There will also be plenty of corn-themed activities like corn hole and a corn shucking competition.
A crisp and refreshing relative of the American Light Lager, Better Maize Ahead American Cream Ale is brewed with flaked maize and gently hopped with Hallertau for a delicate floral finish. With a soft mouthfeel and a subtle, sweet cereal character reminiscent of corn pops, Better Maize Ahead sits at 4.9% ABV. It’s a highly anticipated return as Better Maize Ahead is beloved by many including award-winning beer industry expert and journalist John Holl who has touted it as one of his favorite Cream Ales in outlets including All About Beer and Wine Enthusiast making this special return a must-try.
The a-maize-ing menu from The Clean Plate Club features Corn Fritters with Maple Sriracha, Street Corn, Beer Braised Bratwurst with Corn Relish, Pulled Pork Tostada with Corn Salsa on a Crispy Corn Tortilla, and a Sweet Corn Strawberry Shortcake.
