UPDATE: Damar Hamlin’s injury & charity

Damar Hamlin remains in critical condition at a University of Cincinnati Medical Center. After tackling Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins, Hamlin collapsed and went into cardiac arrest on the field. He was revived and the game was postponed. Doctors say they will slowly try to take him off the ventilator over the next 24 hours.
In the meantime, the public has reached out to his charity to let Hamlin know they’re praying for him. In 2020 Damar Hamlin began The Chasing M’s Foundation to give back to the town outside of Pittsburgh where he grew up.
