Sixers Release Their Schedule For 2023-2024 Season
For once, there is Sixers news that is not just another source of drama. The official schedule for next season has been released. We already knew they would be playing the Heat in Miami on Christmas Day. But now we also know where and when they play the other 81 games. The season opens up on the Road in Milwaukee on TNT on October 26th. The home opener is October 29th vs the Trail Blazers. Then it ends on April 14th vs the Nets.

They have 7 games currently schedules to be on TNT, 8 on ESPN, and 3 on ABC. That gives them 18 Nationally Broadcasted games, and 28 if you count the 10 games that will be on NBA TV.
This will also be the first year of the in-season tournament. They have 4 group-stage games.
11/10 at Pistons
11/14 vs Pacers
11/17 at Hawks
11/21 vs Cavs
The actual in-season tournament games take place between December 4th and 9th. Who they play, and if they play, in those games depends on how they do in the group stage games. But there are no regular season games scheduled for them between December 1st and 11th.
Another stand out is some of the extended road trips they have to go on. At one point they have a stretch of 14 road games out of 18 games near the end of the season. It is something they are used to at this point, as it has been a regular occurrence for them to have parts of the schedule like this. That is just part of them being tenets in the building they play in, and not having first choice of when they can use the building. There are also 14 back-to-backs, including 4 in January.
Ben Simmons first comes to Philly on February 3rd, if he decides to play Basketball this season. So get your boo voices ready.
