Tim McGraw Fulfills a Promise to a Little Girl
Tim McGraw met a sweet fan in the meet and greet line before a show this week and made a promise. Then he got distracted and forgot. So, he posted a message to the little girl on Instagram, sharing the moment with his three-and-a-half million followers.
Tim posted a couple of photos of himself with a girl named Kenzy, who had a sign that read: “It’s my 10th birthday, and I’m celebrating with you!.” He captioned the images, “I met Kenzy at our show in Long Beach, CA, last night. It was her birthday, and she was so sweet! I promised her that I would say ‘Happy Birthday’ to her from the stage; however, as the show progressed, it slipped my mind. So here you go, sweetie!!! Hope you had an awesome time on your birthday! I’ll see you at our next show out there, and tix are on me!!!”
Many of McGraw’s faithful following reacted to the sweet post, including one fan who commented, “Something this young girl will always remember. So very sweet of Tim McGraw.” Another fan gushed, “He’s the best, hands down!” One more fan wrote, “I think she’s probably okay with this instead!”

McGraw talked about his wife of almost 27 years, Faith Hill, and how he would not be the country superstar he is today without her. Tim and Faith married in October 1996 in a small ceremony at his aunt’s Rayville, Louisiana, home. The couple share daughters Gracie, 26, Maggie, 25, and Audrey, 21.
In the new interview promoting his new album, Standing Room Only, McGraw said that without Faith, his career wouldn’t be where it is today. He said, “I guarantee you, had I not gotten married to Faith at 29 years old, I probably would’ve ran my career into the ground.” He also noted that he probably “would’ve died already.” Tim said that he knew one thing for sure is that his career “wouldn’t have ever been where it’s at now.”
