St. Patrick’s Day Song From Jeff Kurkjian
St. Patrick’s Day song is something you need around this amazing green holiday. March 17th every single year and this year, I (Jeff Kurkjian) was tasked with singing a Ten Minute Tune about the holiday.
St. Patrick’s Day Song
Now, I tapped into an actual experience I had at a bar on St. Patrick’s Day for this one. Not a great memory but can laugh about it now. You can follow us on TikTok here. We do Ten Minute Tunes every single Thursday on The Andie Summers Show.
I was challenged to take “Ride” by Bryan Martin and sing about the great holiday!
Sing A Long To The Lyrics!
Well I’ve been known to grab some beer cold
Every March 17th, yeah it never gets old
All dressed up, it’s a holiday
Call up my buddy and we’re on our way!
We go down
To the bar on the corner
To get some green beer and a pickleback shooter
Lucky for me I pre-scheduled ride share
Oh, we crawl
To the spot by the grocery
My buddy named Jimmy, got a call from his wifey
She told him to come home to help get the kids ready
Now just me
Dressed in all green, order another drinky
Chilling all by myself, then two guys
Come up to me alright…
Yeah cause I’ve been told to look for some gold
Cause I’m a bit short, opposite of old
My middle name is Patrick, yeah ain’t that right?
Call me leprechaun and we’ll have a fight
We fight!
Ten Minute Tune
Every week, Jeff Kurkjian is tasked with writing a Ten Minute Tune! You pick the song that we play on the radio station and then a topic, he rewrites the lyrics and then performs in LIVE on the air!

How Did Ten Minute Tune Start?
Once could argue that I have been singing these types of songs my entire life. I used to love listening to the radio in the car, changing the lyrics to my favorites songs in my head to make them sound funny. Little did I know I would make a career out of this little hobby.
I grew up a theater kid, performing at stage since I was 10 years old. So singing and performing has always been something that I’ve loved to do. I took piano lessons since the age of six years old and was heavily involved in choir as well. When I got to college, I was a founding member of the a cappella group, Otto Tunes, on the campus of Syracuse University!
It took us a semester to become an official student organization on campus. Here was our FIRST performance after becoming official. It’s Gavin DeGraw’s “Not Over You.”
