Old Dominion, Lee Brice, Ashley McBryde, Scotty McCreery Set To Play Benefit For Nashville’s 2nd Ave
Some of country music’s biggest stars are getting together to help support Nashville.
Old Dominion, Lee Brice, Ashley McBryde, and Scotty McCreery are set to perform at the 2nd Ave Strong benefit happening on March 26. The two-hour musical event will be held at Wildhorse Saloon and broadcasted on NewsChannel 5.
The event will raise money for the Second Avenue neighborhood which was bombed last Christmas. The money will help rebuild the area and preserve the city’s precious architectural landmarks.
According to Taste of Country, the benefit will feature a tribute to the heroic first responders who helped evacuate residents and lead them to safety before the bomb went off.
The goal is to raise $2 million dollars towards the $10 million overall goal.
“Giving back to the community speaks to the very heart of what we do every day through hospitality to our guests. The fact that we can join with the music industry to help rebuild this incredible neighborhood of an eclectic blend of artists, business owners, and community leaders is humbling,” said Brian Schafer, show producer and manager of the Wildhorse Saloon.
