The Andie Summers Show

Weekdays 5:30AM-10AM

After a long break from acting, Lindsay Lohan is making a comeback in a Netflix holiday rom-com.

Netflix took to Twitter to share their new project captioning the tweet, “Lindsay Lohan will star in a new romantic comedy about a newly engaged and spoiled hotel heiress who finds herself in the care of handsome, blue-collar lodge owner and his precocious daughter after getting total amnesia in a skiing accident.”

The rest of the cast as well as the movie’s title have yet to be confirmed. Production is set to start in November so the release date is planned for the 2021 holiday season.

Lohan expressed an interest to return to acting during CNN’s 2019 New Year’s Eve special. She joyfully announced that she wanted to “come back to America and start filming again,” so she can start “taking back the life that I worked so hard for, and sharing it with my family and you guys.”

The last major project Lohan worked on was the MTV reality series Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club. In the show she manages her beach club in Mykonos, Greece with her “best friend” Panos Spentzos. Lohan brings in an American staff to represent her brand and work at the work at the club for the summer.
