Mother’s Day Edition
The most difficult gift to buy all year is a Mothers Day gift. How can you possibly tell your mom how much she means to you in just one gift on just one day? It’s impossible. But as a mom, I’ve compiled a list of my favorite things that I think would make great gift ideas!
1 – This floral set from Grove.co
I don’t think of myself as a flowery-kind-of-girl – but I can tell you this – when I’m doing dishes and see my pretty dishwashing accessories, it makes the chore a little less miserable.
2 – This Lodge Cast-Iron Dutch Oven
I never give my husband a wish-list for holidays – but I did ask him for this Dutch Oven from Lodge for Christmas last year and I love it. I love to cook, but I’m not willing to spend hundreds on Le Creuset. If you’re like me – you’ll love it!
3 – Brunch at the Elmwood Park Zoo
I love this place. It makes me happy, and my family happy, so everybody wins! And on Mothers Day, EPZ has a way of going above and beyond. This year, it’s a delicious and fun brunch both Saturday and Sunday mornings. What a great way to celebrate!
4 – This easy way to keep in touch with Mom through Touch Note
I downloaded this app while watching the Hallmark Channel last Christmas and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! It’s almost mindless – that’s how easy it is to send a card or post card with a photo on it to a loved one – in this instance, your mom. Also – I’m surprising my mom this year with a canvas print from Touch Note.
Seriously. Super easy.
5 – This coffee machine / milk steamer
We love coffee in my house. Me, my husband, even my kids. So I bought my husband a fancy Keurig for Christmas and it has an accessory that heats and foams milk and it’s a game changer. I am now the greatest latte, cappuccino, and hot chocolate maker in all the land. Even my kids ask to go out for coffee less often, so this machine has already paid for itself.
Happy Mother’s Day!!!
