XFiles: Barry Gibb Recreates Bee Gees Hits With Country Artists On New Album, ‘Greenfields’
Barry Gibb of Bee Gees fame is exploring a different genre of music these days.
Gibb has released Greenfields: The Gibb Brothers Songbook, Vol. 1. The album consists of Gibb redoing the Bee Gees hits with different country artists including Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town, and Keith Urban.
Gibb has been in love with country and bluegrass music since he was a young boy. Once his brothers passed he did some soul searching to try to figure out his passions and what he truly wanted to do with the rest of his life.
It was then his son introduced him to Chris Stapleton. Gibbs immediately reached out to Stapleton’s producer Dave Cobb and asked him to help make this recorded.
