It’s Time To Toss The Thanksgiving Leftovers
Typically it’s my cooking that causes distress to those who eat it, but this time it’s because of health! It’s time to do a fridge check! It’s been 6 days since Thanksgiving, and if you are still eating turkey day leftovers, you better have some Pepto Bismol standing by. The U.S. Department of Agriculture recommends discarding uneaten leftovers three or four days after they’re cooked — or at least tossed it in the freezer. And the USDA says leftovers can safely remain in the freezer for up to six months, although the quality of the food may suffer. So, eat and toss today, friends!
