Philadelphia International Airport Lands Last On This List
Look, we all know that air travel is challenging and most days airports do their best to get thousands of travelers in and out. Then some days…it’s a hot mess. The new J.D. Power’s 2022 North America Airport Satisfaction Study, ranked large sized airports and Philadelphia International Airport has once again ranked last. We are nothing but consistent. The top score is 1,000 and PHL earned 729.
It’s no easy feat for large airports to move as many as 33 million passengers through the terminals per year. Here in Philly – we had about 11 million use the airport. There have been many improvements to the airport recently including additional restrooms, lactation suites and service animal relief areas, which are kind of cute if you’ve seen them.
Who did top the list: Tampa International Airport earned a score of 846, followed by John Wayne Airport (826) in Orange County, California, and Dallas Love Field (825) in Texas.
