New SEPTA App For Free On-Demand Rides
This could be a game changer for getting around this summer! SEPTA is launching a new version of its Official App to enhance the travel tools you use the most while creating a more customized and personal experience. It offers greater ease to check schedules and find service information. The transit system is also launching the Real Time Vehicle Locator.
If that wasn’t enough, for the first time, SEPTA is giving riders the option to order a FREE on-demand trip. Owl Link, is designed to help workers from the city access the suburbs, specifically Lower Bucks County.
According to Philly Metro, “SEPTA officials said two paratransit vehicles, similar to CCT buses, will pick up passengers in the area seven days a week between 10:30 p.m. and 6 a.m., the period when bus routes in that section of Bucks County stop running.”
