Rutgers University Teaches Basics of Running A Vineyard
If you are a wine connoisseur now may be the time to learn how to grow the grapes! There’s the perfect place to do it too, right in the Garden State! Rutgers University-New Brunswick is launching its Grape and Wine Science Certificate Program. The four weeks program w ill run August 1st through the 26th, followed by a four-week paid internship (or equivalent part-time hours) at a New Jersey winery.
What type of classes will there be? According to the program coordinator, “Wine science 101 to give introduction to all aspects, from the field to the winery to the glass.” Registration deadline is July 1st.
