This Jersey Shore Town Is Airbnb’s Biggest Fall Destination
Airbnb recently crunched some numbers and found out US Hosts collectively earned more than $300 million last Labor Day Weekend, with Hosts taking in an average of nearly $750 during the holiday.
What are we looking for? Airbnb Categories with Amazing Pools and Beach the top two most booked Categories this summer and leading into the fall and winter months. So where are we Booking trips for the fall? Ocean City, NJ tops the list! Based on nights booked for the fall travel season Airbnb says Ocean City is king. Bella Vista, AR, Oxford, MS, Santa Ana, CA and La Mesa, CA round out the top 5.
If you’ve never been to “America’s Greatest Family Resort” in September or October you’re missing out prime beach time. Water and temps are still warm enough to swim during the day and you can’t beat the cool fall nights down the shore. Plus the boardwalk is still open and there’s less crowds. No wonder Ocean City is so popular.
