$3.00 Movies Are Coming
If you haven’t been back to see a movie in theaters since before the pandemic, you might want to make plans to go on September 3rd! That’s National Cinema Day and to lure moviegoers back, the Cinema Foundation, a non-profit arm of the National Association of Theater Owners, announced a nationwide discount day in more than 3,000 theaters and on more than 30,000 screens. It’s not just little mom and pop theaters too! Major chains, including AMC and Regal Cinemas, are participating. Major film studios are on board as well. That means on Saturday, September 3rd, participating theaters will offer tickets = no more than $3 for every showing. In every format too! Imax, baby!
“This day is for movie lovers across the US, celebrating how movies are meant to be seen, on the big screen,” stated Ken Thewes, Regal’s Chief Marketing Officer. “We are excited to be a part of National Cinema Day, offering our moviegoers the opportunity to see the latest blockbusters at Regal, no matter the format, for only $3!”
